Summer on the Mat: 150+ Youth, 13 Guest Coaches & One Unforgettable Season

This summer, over 150 youth came together for Beat the Streets’ Open Mat sessions, a season of training, connection, and growth. With 13 guest clinicians, weekly practices drawing 40–50 athletes, and parents cheering from the sidelines, it was about more than wrestling. It was about community, resilience and building confidence on and off the mat.
