You Grow Girl Returns with Jumpstart’s Support
Every time a girl throws her first punch or realizes she’s stronger than she thought, something shifts.
Thanks to Canadian Tire Jumpstart’s continued support, You Grow Girl is back for another year, helping girls across Toronto build strength, confidence, and resilience through sport.
Last year, with Jumpstart’s help, You Grow Girl reached 118 girls in Grades 9–11 across four diverse school communities. Participants shared how the program helped them process emotions, find confidence, and feel empowered:

“I believe I can do more than I thought. I feel stronger and more confident.”
“It made me realize I was holding myself back – now I want to join more programs like this.”
This year, we’re thrilled to continue the momentum: delivering five new programs at Joseph Brant and Dixon Grove. Each session gives girls the chance to move, connect, and discover just how powerful they really are.
