A new face
Hi everyone! My name is Laila Sheather and I’m brand new to Beat The Streets Toronto. I’ll be working as one of the Social Media Managers with Kathy and we’ll be responsible for media campaigns, creating content, and social media marketing and outreach.
Why BTS?
Beat the Streets is such a valuable organization that teaches the critical skills I wish I had learned when I was much younger. The development skills and social-emotional skills BTS teaches youth are so important to refine when you are younger to boost success (and make your daily life a bit easier). The work at BTS is so critical for youth and deserves a LOT more funding. I want to help make sure younger kids maximize their potential and know they can achieve a lot more than they think they can.
