BTS Summer Job Highlights

BTS Summer Jobs 2021 has sadly come to an end but the memories and skills attained by the staff here at BTS will last forever. This summer the work it program presented youth ages 16-24 with the opportunity to obtain hard skills, soft skills and as well as transferable skills. Youth were offered jobs that allowed them to undertake Soft skills (SEL) such as accountability, responsibility, organization, time management, collaboration and problem-solving and undertake Hard skills (Physical literacy) such as development, research and evaluation, digital content creation, data entry and analysis, managing social media, facilitating summer camps and creating reports. The end goal of the Work it program is to help students attain job readiness, resilience, confidence and hard & soft skills, for a smooth transition to the workforce. A special thanks to Canada Summer Jobs for making programs like this one possible.
